We empower each member of the Waters team to drive PR for our clients in the most effective direction for them. 

Responsibilities

 

We’re currently looking for a creative, results-focused Account Manager with B2B tech PR experience to join our global virtual team. This person will take a lead role in managing client PR programs through traditional and social media channels. Here’s an overview of what you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Design and execute strategic communications programs for a dedicated set of accounts

  • Lead day-to-day activities for each account

  • Serve as counsel and advisor to clients along with being a campaign manager

  • Supervise progress of account teams on program execution and creative strategy

  • Drive media coverage through sound outreach, story development, campaign strategy and strong relationships with technology media

  • Develop and edit outcome-driven materials including press releases, fact sheets, messaging guidance, executive bios, media briefing documents, bylined articles, award submissions, conference speaker abstracts, Q&As and more. Writing assignments vary per account

  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of each account’s business and outcomes, plus their competitors, market landscape and industry trends

  • Exercise and model PR best practices in media relations, research, writing and reporting

  • Support agency initiatives including new business outreach, upselling strategies and business development.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with B2B technology PR programs in a PR agency and/or in-house marketing/strategic communications role

  • Proven critical thinker and problem solver

  • Skilled at managing, cultivating and navigating client dynamics and relationships.

  • Love for fast pace and dynamic working conditions.Comfortable hitting goals and deadlines while managing shifting priorities and expectations.
